Leave Policies
>> Calendar > Menu > Settings > Leave Policy
Leave Policies assign Leave Activities to employees and define allowance (days) to be awarded.
Leave Policies can be assigned to either:
- Employee Types
- Groups
- Positions
- Department
- Individual employees within Employment Info
Each policy specifies:
- Active Period - number of months of service from the employee’s Hire Date for which the policy shall apply
- Activity Type - types of activities that shall be assigned for the Active Period (multiple activities can be assigned to a single Active Period)
- Allowance (days) - number of activity days that shall be awarded over the Active Period
- Accrual - awarded leave will accrue based on the allowance granted over the relevant active period
