Configure and assign Team calendar access rights for each user role.
ROLES
Roles define a set of rights the user will have. ZipHR provides some default roles to help you get started, but you can customize them as you wish:
- Administrator - access to all features.
CAUTION: Admin role should only be granted to very select persons - HR Admin - create, edit and approve calendar events
- Finance Admin - view calendar, but not edit
- Manager - view and manage calendar for their team
- Employee - view own calendar
An option to add additional roles is also available here. Click the function to add or may you also duplicate an existing role by clicking the CLONE function.
RIGHTS
Each right may have the ability to either:

MY CALENDAR

- Allow employees to view their own Schedule and Leave tab
- Note that all changes in schedule & will need to be approved by the approver.
- However, Administrators may set themselves as their own Event and Leave approvers in Employment Info Team Org, to enable auto-approval for any calendar requests.
TEAM CALENDAR
Determines if a user is able to view another person's calendar.

SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
Enables access to manage employee schedules.
Calendar Administrator |
Able to directly manage team schedules and approve any requests on behalf of all designated approvers, WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL APPROVALS required. |
Calendar Manager |
Able to manage team schedules, subject to the full approval process.
