My Team > More > Settings > User Rights
Assign My Team system access rights for each user Role.
Roles define a set of rights the user will have. ZipHR provides some default roles to help you get started, but you can customize them as you wish:
- Administrator - access to all features.
CAUTION: Admin role should only be granted to very select persons
- HR Admin - access to all primary employee details, schedules, and leaves
- Finance Admin - access to limited employee details
- Manager - access to limited employee details within their team
- Employee - self-employed functions only
An option to add additional roles is also available here. Click the function to add or may you also duplicate an existing role by clicking the CLONE function.
Each right may have the ability to either:
|VIEW||See/view data only|
|EDIT||See/view and change the data
Note: Green Edit means they can change to other rights option, while Gray Edit is the default and cannot be changed in the system.
|DENY||No ability to see/view or change data
Note: Red Deny means it can change to other rights options, while Grey Deny means it cannot be changed in the system and default.
Determines which employees the user will be able to access.

Detailed rights to view and edit specific info for those you have Access Rights over are determined by the My Team rights outlined below.
Employee may always VIEW their own Employee Profile and Employment Info details.
EDITS to an employee's own details must be requested and approved via the Request Change feature. Administrators have the ability to change their own details.
Determines what the user is able to see and do with those they have Access Rights over.
