Philippines Pag-IBIG - Monthly Contribution
The Pag-IBIG Fund is a mutual provident savings system for private and government employees and other earning groups, supported by matching mandatory contributions of their respective employers with housing as the primary investment.
- The monthly contributions for the members are

Employee Share Employer Share P1,500 and below 1% 2% Over P1,500 2% 2% - The maximum Regulatory Requirement for Monthly Compensation used in computing the employee contributions is currently set at P5,000.
- This means that the maximum member contribution and employer counterpart per month are both currently P100.
ZipHR CALCULATION
- Monthly Compensation - Compensation to be included for Pag-IBIG can be configured in Payroll > Settings > Payment Configurations > Contribution Wages.

SEMI-MONTHLY Pag-IBIG ADJUSTMENTS
Adjustments depend on the Wage Basis set in Payment Configurations.
- Monthly Basic Wage - ZipHR automatically deduct the Pag-IBIG contribution on the first period based on the basic salary set in his profile.
- Actual Basic Wage - ZipHR automatically deduct the contribution on the first period based on the actual earnings of employee. In the second period, ZipHR will compute the Pag-IBIG contribution on the basis of combined first and second period wages. ZipHR will deduct what has been withheld in first period and only withhold in the second period if there is a shortfall.
GENERATE REPORT
ZipHR also provides a report for the Pag-IBIG contribution file.
- Go to Reports >> Contributions
- Select Pag-IBIG
- Select the year and month of the needed report
- Use filters if multiple branches, companies, or cost centers are included in a single ZipHR account and separate Pag-IBIG reports must be generated.
- Click the download
button
- Export SSS report as:
- XLSX - It is used to view the information of a Pag-IBIG Report in a standard excel format.
