Contribution Types

Enables user to define various contribution calculations tailored to their country or company's regulation.
ZipHR will come preloaded with all the standard statutory contributions to get you started.
CONFIGURING CONTRIBUTION TYPE
Click on any Contribution Type to configure.
- Name - customize the name
- Payor - determines if it is paid by Employee or Employer
- Wage Type - calculated based on
- Monthly Basic Wage - fixed monthly wage paid per month
- Total Wage - all wages in each payslip, including tardy, absent, OT or other similar additional wages
- Actual Basic Wage - actual basic wage earned in the payslip
- Rounding Multiple - rounds the wage to the nearest multiple
- Min Wage Restrictions - capped at Min Wage or floored at Min Wage Floor
- Wage Floor - minimum wage amount
- Wage Cap - maximum wage amount
- Rates
- Rate - the percentage of wage that will be paid
- Threshold
- None - no thresholds apply
- Wage - the rate will be applied up to specified wage amount
- Age - the rate will be applied up to specified age limit
- Amount
- Amount Floor - minimum contribution amount to be paid
- Amount Cap - maximum contribution amount to be paid
ADDING CONTRIBUTION TYPE
You may also add other Contribution Types if you have special contributions to other agencies. To execute this:
- Click on Add Contribution Type
- Then, configure the contribution type in accordance with your company's policies:
