The first step to properly tracking employee dates is to get all relevant employment information on ZipHR.
The Employment Info | Details page, enables you to store all relevant employee info to keep track of critical dates.
>> Settings > Notifications
Within your system notification settings, you can control what types of employee notifications you would like to receive, and who should receive them.
EMPLOYEE UPDATE - NOTIFCATIONS
>> Dashboard > Notifications
ZipHR will automatically send notification of upcoming employee updates on your dashboard notifications under <Employee Updates>.
Pop-up browser notifications will also appear to provide a quick notice on desktop and mobile.
Emails also help remind you that an update may be pending action.

Sometimes it may also be easier to just see a periodic list of all key employee dates upcoming or past.
The Employee Contact Report enables you to easily create a list of employees based on specified contract dates.
- Choose a date range
- Select the Contract Type date you would like to see
- Hire Date
- Probation Expiry Date
- Contract Expiry Date
- Anniversary Date
- Termination Date
- Filter the employee list to only see who is relevant
- export a report to get a list of employees to follow-up on
